Winter Balefire

Winter Balefire is a writer, poet, paranormal researcher and Occultist from Los Angeles, CA. Her articles on the paranormal, magic, lore and urban legends have been continuously published since 2009 and she has been the subject of interviews in these areas. When not exploring the macabre and bizarre Winter enjoys writing short stories and poetry. In early 2016, her poetry was featured in the book Asylum Of The Ancient Ones through The H.P Lovecraft Lunatic Asylum. In December 2016 her first poetry book, Love Letters Destroyed, was released. This title later went on to win the 2017 Summer Indie Book Award for poetry through Metamorph Publishing. Winter's latest book, On A Ghostly Winter's Night, features a compilation of all of her articles on the Paranormal, Occult, Lore and Urban Legends. She has a passion for topics that are considered taboo in hopes of spreading awareness and educating the public on what is commonly misunderstood about the Occult.
